Nassau Humane Society will host the 12th Annual Parade for Paws on Saturday, December 3rd at Central Park on Atlantic Ave in Fernandina Beach. Late registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and the parade begins at 11:00 a.m. Registration fee is $10.00 per dog.

This is a festive parade where dogs of all sizes and shapes don their holiday finery (if they want to) and bring their owners to walk in this parade! There are two routes along Centre Street, a 1/2 mile and a 1 mile route! Both routes end up back at the park. Immediately after the parade (which usually lasts about a half hour), there are awards for the best costume. Dogs can take their owners home anytime, but usually the humans like to hang around a bit and talk to friends and check out the vendors.
Refreshments and music will be available.
