August 18, 2008 School begins and is an early dismissal day for students.
September 1, 2008 No school, Labor Day Holiday
October 16, 2008 the first semester grading period ends.
October 20, 2008 is a non-school day for students, Teacher planning day
October 21, 2008 is a non-school day for students, Staff Development
November 11, 2008 No school, Veteran’s Day Holiday
November 26-28, 2008 No School, Thanksgiving Holiday
December 19, 2008 the second semester grading period ends.
December 19, 2008 is an early dismissal day for students.
December 22nd, 2008 thru January 6th, 2009 is Christmas Break.

January 19, 2009 is a non-school day for students, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

March 27th, 2009 is a non-school day for students, Teacher planning day
April 6th thru the 10th, 2009 is Spring Break!
May 25th, 2009 is a non-school day for students, Teacher planning day
June 3, 2009 is the last day of school and also an early dismissal day for students.

Weather make up days if required are November 26th, January 5th and February 16th.
