Gimme a Second

Add one second to your watch – One December 31, at 7:00 pm you get to add one second to your watch. How will you spend your second? Authorities say there is no need to worry about re-setting your electronic devices with built in clocks, however they didn’t say why… I am guessing that it would be 60 years before that single second will make a one-minute difference to any of us! Enjoy the extra time, don’t waste it and do something productive for that one second – YOU can make a difference!

The Locker Room

A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women’s locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, ‘What’s the matter, haven’t you ever seen a little boy before?’

Amelia Island Ritz Carlton

Holiday Garbage Days

Stateline disposal has announced their holiday garbage pick up schedule. Normal December 25 trash will be picked up on December 26th and Friday’s pick up will be moved to Saturday the 27th.

January 1st will be picked up on the 2nd and Friday’s waste will be picked up on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009.
