The Fernandina Farmer’s Market is held each Saturday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Amelia Island. LocalHarvest is a website with a directory of farmer’s markets, family farms and other resources for food grown in your area. Their newest featured products are Heritage Turkeys and Organic Cranberries. This is a great site to order from a variety of product categories to find just about anything.

Care2 is an online community for healthy and green living, human rights and animal wefare. Plenty of topics are open for discussion such as global warming, women’s rights and there is an abundance of petitions to browse.
