In this segment of Community Conversations you will meet the Fernandina Beach Middle School Cheerleading Coach, Wendy Sapp. Learn what it takes to becoming a middle school cheerleader, and more so, what goes on behind the scenes.

Uniforms, accessories, even the matching hair bows are all purchased from great events these girls plan and execute to raise money. With no school funding, Sapp has done an amazing job with fundraisers and additional assistance and support from outstanding local businesses and community organizations such as the Optimist Club.
