It would be easy with clear roadsigns, wouldn't it?
Let’s face it, we are always getting advice on how to succeed and do better, everyone has their own formula, right?¬† What about some advice on how to fail?¬† Now that’s a new twist.¬† If you apply a little logic behind it though, it just may prove to be the best way to make sure you’re doing the right things to succeed.¬† If you want to know one sure fire way to fail then all you have to do is try to please everyone.
Successful people are the ones who make the best decisions they can, and then let nature take it’s course.¬† There is no way you can please everyone, trying to do so will surely end up in failure.¬† There will always be those who will attempt to impose their ideas and beliefs on you.¬† You see, when it comes to giving advice, everyone is an expert.¬† Who are the people who simply insist you must change the way you are doing things and listen to them, they are the nay sayers in life.¬† They are the very ones who always seem to have something negative to say, about everything.¬† My advice is this, don’t listen to them.¬† Don’t argue with them, there is no winning and it is nothing more then an exercise in futility, be polite and thank them for their advice but, move on.
We are here on this earth and we each have a role to play.¬† There is nothing wrong with changing what you’re doing and take a new path in the course of life, but that should be your decision and not someone else’s.¬† There is nothing wrong with failure every now and then.¬† Failure is a part of success.¬† We learn from our failures and we become stronger individuals because of the failures.
Perhaps if we concentrate more on what we should not be doing, then doing the things we should be doing in order to succeed will become easy.
And always remember: “Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm,” according to Sir Winston Churchill.
