Amelia Island and Fernandina Weather 12-30-09

All County offices will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2010 in observance of New Year’s Day.

Today: Cloudy skies over Fernandina Beach as the showers approach later in the day. Highs will be around 60 degrees with mild ENE winds.
Tonight: Cloudy overnight with a 50% chance of showers and lows in the mid 50s.
New Year‚Äôs Eve: Showers are expected with highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 50s. Drive safely, plan for a designated driver or call Relax and Ride for a safe journey home, especially since the roads will likely be wet.
New Year’s Day: Windy with variable clouds and highs in the low 50s. Fernandina Beach lows will be in the mid to upper 30s.
Saturday: Plenty of sunshine with highs in the low 50s and lows in the upper 30s.
