Amelia Liquors was established in 1985 and carries an incredible variety of adult beverages including high end wines and tequilas and an extensive collection of the finest single malt scotches to be found in one location. Their $5.00 Bucket-O-Wine, 10% senior discounts on Mondays and monthly specials prove that being located on the south end of Amelia Island doesn’t always mean high dollar prices.
I had the pleasure of meeting the brains behind this successful operation, Valerie Shibley, who added, “The other two owners are known as Frick and Frack.” Conveniently located next door to Harris Teeter, this liquor store specializes in hard to find allocated wines, special orders, a nice selection of cigars and case discounts.

Seasonal functions include an exclusive tasting of Scotch, Champagne, Grand Marnier or the upcoming Parker’s Picks held at Plae Restaurant on select Monday nights.

The store hours are 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday thru Thursday; 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturdays and on Sundays they are open from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
