2016 Amelia Island Walk is Saturday May 28th, but you need to register by May 14th. Event benefits the efforts of the Amelia Tree Conservancy.
On Saturday, May 28th, the Amelia Island Walk, a Vida Series event, begins at the Fernandina Harbor Marina, and ends at Amelia Island State Park at the southernmost end of the island. Choose 15, 10, or 5 miles and walk the island for exercise, enjoyment and appreciation of the beauty surrounding us all. The route will take you through the historic village, Egan’s Creek Greenway, the beach, and the Amelia Island Trail.
At every mile there will be a pause to notice the beauty and nature of the trees, the creatures, the ocean, the wind, the flowers, and more… plus 2 water refill and rest stops.
The start time is 8:00 AM. A t-shirt plus goody bag from our sponsors will be given to all registered participants.
