The Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society Show is put on by a 501(c)3 not for profit organization and is a 50 year-old group based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Their volunteers teach lapidary skills for free such as silversmithing, cabbing, faceting, wire wrapping, beading, lampwork, polymer clay and much more. They have recently purchased a building in the Mandarin area and have set up many classrooms and a museum.

Class fees are nominal, and additional fees for materials are required as needed.

Excited to pass on the love of rocks and specimens, schools are an important outreach program offered by the group and the new museum.

The 28th Jacksonville Gem & Mineral Society Show & Sale will include lots of exciting displays including NASA Moon Rock and Space Shuttle Tire, rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, beads and jewelry galore.

Admission is only $4 a day or $7 for all three daysm and children under 12 free with guardian. There will be a $1.00 discount for Seniors & Military with proper ID.
