Nassau County, FL – The Council on Aging’s Capital Campaign to raise funds for The Life Center continues. In addition to asking for donations, we have added an exciting new way to leave your name on our building with a personally engraved brick paver to be placed in the courtyard of the new facility.
These pavers, engraved with your name or the name of a loved one, are now available for purchase. Since many of you might have been born on this site of the former hospital, we’d like to invite you to buy a paver in The Life Center to celebrate you! But don’t forget your anniversary, your loved one’s birthday or any special occasion!
The Life Center will provide 15,000 square feet dedicated to serving our seniors, including seven flexible areas for exercise classes and wellness programs, as well as room for lifelong learning opportunities, and a large gathering space for group meals. This new center will also provide a more functional area for our Adult Day Healthcare program, space for a 60 percent increase in the number of case workers, training space for In-Home workers, and other desperately needed space for new programs.
