A Day for Hope and Friends at Amelia State ParkA Day for Hope and Friends is a benefit being held at Amelia State Park on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Kelly Seahorse Ranch. Starting at 3:00 PM your generous tax deductible donation will benefit TWO great causes!

Hope Therapy is an Accredited Center of North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Using horses, Hope Therapy provides equine assisted activities and therapy to children and adults with physical, mental, psychological, social, behavioral and sensory motor disabilities.

Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks is a citizen support organization whose purpose is to enhance the activities of the parks and to maintain the integrity of the natural and cultural resources within the parks. These parks include Amelia Island State Park, Big Talbot and Little Talbot Islands, Fort George Island, Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve, Yellow Bluff Fort and George Crady Bridge.

Low Country Boil and BBQ plates will be available for $10.00. Water and sodas will also be available or bring your own!
