The Fall Wine and Food Festival is being held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., then you can catch an Uber or Taxi to downtown Fernandina Beach for a tour with Amelia Tasting Tours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Hosted by Amelia Island Wine Company, begin your day at Palmetto Walk where you can taste over 80 wines from around the world in a complimentary etched glass. Food creations will be offered by Bar Zin Bistro and Cucina South restaurants, where you can enjoy the island breeze under the giant oak trees on the south end of Amelia Island. Of course, Amelia Island Wine Company, located at 4924 First Coast Highway, carries many of these wines in stock so you can purchase your favorite for another time. Tickets are $35.00 in advance at Eventbrite and are $45.00 at the event. This event is from 1 to 4, so that gives you just over an hour to get to the next drinking event.
Amelia Island Downtown Tasting Tours hosts a great walking tour of local bars in historic Fernandina Beach. There are four stops and you will receive a tour cocktail and a lesson in each bar’s history while making new friends. This is a great cocktail party, no planning needed, for any special occasion.
