Always a good time at the farmers market
The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market will both be open on December 14, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. Full of food vendors and art booths you will find many fantastic tents loaded with community favorites.
In the Arts Market, you will find T-24. They make artistic, hand forged metal jewelry in original abstract designs. Popular this season are their snowman and Christmas tree earrings. Bartique Designs will be at the market with hand-crafted yoga mat bags, clutches, change purses, zipper pouches, and infinity and ring pull-over scarves, in fun, high quality fabrics. Good Juju makes unique acrylic paint and resin jewelry, and jewelry and novelty boxes.
Just some of the farmers market vendors include seedless and easy peeling satsumas that will only be available through December. Topsy Toffee has his seasonal peppermint toffee in stock, and happy chickens live with Klucker’s booth owners Michael and Michelle and they bring us free range, all natural yard eggs. Riverwood Candles has holiday scents now available with their soy candles and clean burning wooden wicks. There is no charge to stop and smell the Dickens Christmas, Reindeer Kisses or Santa Cookies. Lizzie’s Cheese Straws is returning this week, too, with their delicate sweet and savory cracker-like snacks.
This week’s Booth With a Cause is promoting the Jacksonville Jaguars in Nassau County. They are excited to promote the final home game on December 29th, vs. the Indianapolis Colts, Daily’s Place concert amphitheater, and will provide information in becoming a 2020 season ticket holder.
Music will be provided by Robert Vasile. He is a musician/songwriter who recently moved from Nazareth, PA to the Fernandina Beach area. This talented musician holds a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH. He also plays the accordion and guitar. Robert is currently involved in providing music services for the Nassau County Council On Aging and is the author of a guitar manual, “Uncle Rob’s Guitar Method”, and “The New Santa Song Book”. His current instrument of choice is the Roland FR-7 reed-less accordion with programmable orchestral and band instruments providing a rich musical blend of sound and style!
The Fernandina Beach Market Place can be found on North Seventh Street in historic Fernandina. Your well-behaved, leashed pets are always welcome at “Florida’s Friendliest Farmers Market.”
