FilmAmelia! presents, Acting for the Camera. Using Stanislavsky type methods, adult students will discover how to work with the camera in a natural, normal sounding way.
Classes will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at 1525 Lime Street in the Police Department’s Community Room in Fernandina Beach beginning on January 27, 2012 and continuing each Friday through March 2, 2012.
These classes will be taught by Dr. Nadine Vaughan. She is a filmmaker, director, psychologist and the author of, Native Land: Lost in the Mystery of Time.
Classes are only $50.00 for six classes if paid in advance, or $10.00 per class if paid each session. There is NO CHARGE for MUMC members and limited work-exchange scholarships are available, please ask. (Some exceptions allowed for experienced adolescents.)
FilmAmelia! has be incorporated as a non-profit organization!
The new Articles of Incorporation state:
“The purpose of FilmAmelia! Inc. is to educate, inform, and promote the many resources and talents available on and around Amelia Island, as a way of attracting the international filmmaking community and its investors to this location.”
