Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau Wins 11 Awards

In total, Amelia Island received eight gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal in the advertising and digital media categories.

Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau Wins 11 AwardsAmelia Island, FL – The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) recognized the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (AICVB) with 11 Adrian Awards, including “Best Overall Integrated Campaign,” last night in New York at the 58th annual Adrian Awards Gala, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.

In total, AICVB received eight gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal in the advertising and digital media categories and across all media, including television, magazine, outdoor and the web.

The awards include:

Gold:
Best Overall Integrated Campaign of the Year – “Florida’s Legendary Island”

Best Repositioning Campaign of the Year – “A Florida Beach with a Southern Accent”

Best Magazine Ad of the Year – “Charm and Splendor” Southern Belle Balloon Magazine
Best Magazine Ad of the Year – “Soak in the Southern Beauty” Infinity Pool Magazine
Best Outdoor/Out of Home Ad of the Year – “Southern Elegance” Welcome Center
Best Outdoor/Out of Home Ad of the Year – “Savor the Splendor” Welcome Center
Best Outdoor/Out of Home Ad of the Year – “Share the Wonder” Welcome Center
Best Digital Ad of the Year – “Drop in Florida’s Legendary Island” Balloon Canada Weather Digital Ad

Silver:
Best Brochure of the Year – “Florida’s Legendary Island” Visitor’s Guide

Bronze:
Best Outdoor/Out of Home Ad of the Year – “Soak in the Southern Beauty” Welcome Center

This year’s contest attracted thousands of entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the industry.

“All of our marketing programs have received an overwhelmingly positive response from travelers, but it’s very gratifying to earn the recognition of industry experts in the Adrian Awards,” said Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “We’re always working to fine tune our message to showcase Amelia Island to consumers and this year’s awards are an exciting validation of our hard work.”
