American Business Women’s Scholarship Now Accepting Applicants

The Eight Flags Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is offering a $2,000.00 scholarship to one Nassau County student.

American Business Women's Scholarship Now Accepting ApplicantsThe Eight Flags Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is offering a $2,000.00 scholarship, funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund, to one Nassau County student.

Each year, local chapters of ABWA provide the scholarship to female students who will attend accredited United States colleges, universities and, or community/vocational schools.

Applicants must be citizens of the United States; must be residents of Nassau County, FL; must attend or be attending college in August 2015; and, currently have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

A minimum of three eligible completed applications are required in order for the scholarship to be awarded. The scholarship recipient will be notified in May. Since inception in 1969, the Eight Flags ABWA has proudly given away over $100,000 in scholarships to Nassau County students.
