Announcing a new acting class at Amelia Community TheatreAmelia Community Theatre is offering a four session beginning acting class, for ages 18 and up, taught by Sinda Nichols.

The cost is $40.00 and class will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, in ACT’s Studio209 on Mondays, April 27, May 4, May 18, and Tuesday, May 26, 2015.

Thinking about being an actor?
This fun and inspiring class is specifically designed to take you from thinking about being an actor to being an actor. Learn how to audition, use your voice and body effectively, analyze a text and act truthfully. Through theatre games, exercises, monologues and short scenes, students will be confident and excited to take part in an upcoming Amelia Community Theatre production.

Sinda was recently seen on the ACT stage as Ann Landers in The Lady with All the Answers, and has studied acting at the University of Minnesota, Stella Adler Studio and Atlantic Theatre in NYC. She has worked with actors of all backgrounds and experience levels.
