The forum, which will be free and open to the public, will be divided into two parts: (1) Representatives from all of Nassau County’s arts organizations will discuss the current status and future of the arts in the community; and (2) Local videographer Emily Jane Murry will lead an Introduction To Video Production Seminar, which will provide basic information on planning, shooting, and editing video for prospective projects.

“This program will be the first of several public community forums slated to discuss ongoing arts issues throughout the county and to provide hands-on educational information to those interested in furthering their creative knowledge,” said Arts And Culture Nassau Chairman Mike Spino. “We welcome all who wish to be involved in the many facets of arts and culture available in Nassau County.”
