childrens-advocateThe Golden Isles Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that services Camden County and several other surrounding counties. The center’s mission is to provide Forensic Interviews, Forensic medical examinations, education, counseling and advocacy services to all survivors of sexual abuse and other violent crimes.

A Children’s Advocacy Center is a safe place for the evaluation and treatment of children who have been sexually abused or suffered severe physical abuse. They work with law enforcement, child protective services, schools, counselors, medical examiners, and the judicial system. This multidisciplinary team works together to help child abuse victims and their families.

RedLine Power Sports on Hwy 17, just north of the Hwy 40 intersection is sponsoring a motorcycle ride to benefit this great agency. On June 6, kickstands are up at 9:30 AM for this 200 mile ride with five stops along the way to J’s British Pub in St. Mary’s, Georgia.

The entry is $15.00 per driver and $5.00 for your passenger. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 and an auction at the end of the ride.
