In preparation for the September Amelia Island Blues Festival, the Festival Committee has asked Café Karibo in town, to facilitate a monthly Blues Jam on the last Thursday of the month. The first jam in the series is scheduled upstairs at the well known restaurant and micro brewery for this Thursday January 27th from 7:30 to 10:30pm, when local Beech Street Blues Band will be opening up the evening with an unplugged attitude, playing some of the best smooth blues this side of the Mississippi Delta. We invite you to grab some friends and enjoy eats and drinks from the incredible menu at Café Karibo and as the evening moves forward, you will hear some outstanding jamming blues from greats like Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and so much more.

Come and experience a “delicious taste” of what is going to be one of the most spectacular Blues Musical Experiences Amelia Island has ever seen…. Also check out the new website with lots of information, videos and a listing of the so far contracted performer line up and while you’re at it, mark March 26 on your calendar as well for a special Blues Treat from noon to nine at the Main Beach Park, when the committee will roll out a blues tapestry from gospel to delta blues and beyond the electric blues. It’s going to be a blast into the Spring.

Make blues music a part of your life.
