Lassoing the Sun with Mark Woods @ Story and Song Bookstore Bistro
Oct 16 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

“Lassoing the Sun” with Times-Union columnist Mark Woods

The title of Mark Woods’s new book comes from an ancient Hawaiian legend about Maui trying to slow down the passing of time by lassoing the sun. You’ll hear Mark talk about why that was important to him as he planned to spend a year visiting some of American’s most spectacular National Parks. Not only is the book about the parks, it’s about family, the legacies we inherit, and the ones we leave behind.
