Camden Company Helps New Jersey With Hurricane Clean Up

Paul Davis Emergency Services in Camden County deploys to New Jersey for hurricane clean up.

Camden Company Helps New Jersey With Hurricane Clean UpSt. Marys/Kingsland, GA – Paul Davis Emergency Services in Camden County, GA, recently deployed its resources of staff and highly-specialized equipment to New Jersey in order to provide emergency mitigation services to communities damaged by Hurricane Irene.

According to Rana Killough, Paul Davis office owner, in late August, the company sent technicians and equipment to locations in central New Jersey. The local Paul Davis group joined additional emergency services teams from across the country where they helped property owners with water damage and disaster restoration.

“When the opportunity to provide disaster assistance was presented to us, we were pleased to help anyone in need,” said Killough. “One of the benefits to providing our services in New Jersey was bringing home the income to Camden County,” she said. “We strive to buy locally for all our business needs, whether it’s equipment, supplies and office needs, or for ourselves.”

Specifically, Killough and her husband and business partner Paul Drayton, provided restoration and repair services, contents and document recovery and cleaning, decontamination and deodorizing, and sewage clean up in the basements of the affected homes.

Killough and Drayton had the assistance of the Paul Davis Emergency Services office in Brunswick, GA to ensure that any local customers were serviced while the couple worked around the clock for two weeks in New Jersey.

“While we spent a couple of weeks underground in basements, we left each project satisfied that each person felt as if their lives were being put back together.” said Drayton.

Killough and Drayton opened their new Paul Davis franchise in May and have already become active in the community by working closely with the Camden County Chamber of Commerce and performing community service. The company specializes in rapid emergency mitigation services including board-ups, water and fire response, odor and mold removal. Services are available 24 hours a day with an emergency on-site arrival time within two hours in the St. Marys and Kingsland area.

The couple has more than eight years of experience in the emergency services and water damage restoration industry. They are certified from The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). For more information, call 912.342.2220 or email rkillough@pdes-usa.net.
