At the Fernandina Beach harbor marina, Amelia Island resident, Captain Steve Hair, keeps his 36 foot charter boat, at the ready for those with physical and developmental disabilities as well as those diagnosed with a terminal illness.

The Fernandina Fishing Forecast for the week of April 7, 2009 is here and the fishing around Amelia Island should continue to be good. Redfish, trout, sheepshead continue to be biting. You can find big drum off the beach and the jetties. Nice size reds are in the rivers and at the jetties.
