Group Guitar Class with Dan Voll for ages 7 to 17*, on Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.
Learn guitar basics in a fun, group atmosphere. Find out if the guitar is right for your child with this basic introductory course. Kids will enjoy the “jam session” atmosphere of this lively class.
$50 per month. Join Any Time!

El Coro De Ninos with Duamuxa (Marci & Ricardo) for ages 7 – 11, on Saturdays from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. The Children will learn songs from the Latin-American songbook and North-American repertoire (English and Spanish) The children’s Choir will have an introduction to the Latin-American songbook, with music and rhythm appreciation through Latin American popular folk songs. The class includes an introduction and practice of the Spanish language (sound of letters and words) and rhythm. Children will receive introduction to singing in a choir and working with kids & their musicality; singing, rhythm, pitch, tuning etc and preparing for and participating in performances.
$60 per month / $15 per class

Miss D’s Elementary Band with Diane Demeranville. This class is for grades 3rd – 5th and will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30– 5:45 PM. No experience preferred! We’ll help you choose your instrument and learn to play. Open to all children, regardless of school attended.
$50 per month. Take in conjunction with After School Arts for a discounted rate. Start Any time!

The Little Children’s Bilingual Workshop with Duamuxa (Marci & Ricardo) for ages 3 – 6, on Saturdays 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Children will be introduced to the songs and rhythms of Latin America using rounds and simple tunes to work through rhythm, melody and Spanish. Music will include bilingual adaptations of traditional children’s music and original compositions from Ricardo & Marci, as well as popular children songs from Latin America. Children will be introduced to singing, clapping, magic and catchy words in Spanish, little percussion instruments, dancing and musical games. It is important that parents stay with their little ones until they feel acclimated and get to know us.
$60 per month, or $15 per class plus small instruments (list will be available during the introduction).

Pattycake Playtime with Sarah Savannah Sandall for ages: 3 – 5, on Tuesdays 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Designed with the preschooler in mind, this class gives students an introduction to art in an energetic atmosphere. Students will explore sculpture, painting, clay, and creative movement.
$60 per month. Start Anytime! (Kids must be potty trained)

Claymation & Animation with Amanda Orbich, for ages 8 to 18*, on Mondays from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Create your own claymation movie! Learn clay techniques, screenplay development, digital photography, and stop motion animation in this fun-filled class.
$125 for the 8-week course.

Art After School with Amanda Orbich (Tues.) and Dan Edwards (Thurs.) for grades K through 5th. Fun & educational! A mixed media art class that meets Sunshine State educational standards for elementary visual arts education. Drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and art history are just a few of the subjects covered.

$60 per month for once weekly, or $100 per month for both days. Start Any Time!

Creative Dramatics will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. for ages 8 – 18*. There’s a roll for everyone! In this class, each child, preteen, and teen, develops self-expression, confidence, and teamwork through acting, singing, and choreography. Areas of study include costumes and props, performance techniques, and stage presence. A one-act play will be the culminating fall production, and a musical will be the highlight of the spring.

Vocal Techniques and Stage Performance with Emma Bledsoe on Mondays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. for ages 12 to 112*. Get “Performance Ready” in this class designed to help you be more comfortable on (and off) stage. Whether you are an American Idol candidate, Future Motivational Speaker, Choir Member, or just a Shower Star, you’ll learn the elements of proper vocal technique, stage presence and the ability to wow your audience. Breathing techniques, Bel Canto singing techniques, proper attire and choosing the correct repertoire will be a few of the aspects covered in helping you to walk out on stage with ease.

*Please note that some classes provide separate but cohesive curriculum appropriate for each stage of this varied age group.

Community Ensembles
Open to all adult amateur musicians (and a few talented kids!) that want to perfect their playing skills, make new friends, and perform for the community.

New Horizon’s Concert Band
Meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., so dust off your instrument and join the only community band in Nassau County! This community band for musicians of all ages and skill levels performs traditional band repertoire at a variety of events.

Amelia Strings
Meets Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. A unique gem on Amelia Island – the area’s only community string ensemble. String players of all levels are invited to join.

Academy Jazz Ambassadors
Meets Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. This Jazz Ensemble plays swing and jazz favorites, and is open to players of all ‘big band’ instrumentation. Collection members learn jazz styles, interpretation and literature, as well as improvisational techniques. The Jazz Collection performs at special events throughout the region.
