Amelia Island, FL – In honor of International Resale Day, 14 local area resalers participated in a summer Consignment Crawl. The event highlighted a variety of local area resale, consignment, thrift, & antique shops specializing in women’s, children’s, vintage, home décor & furniture. Each host provided refreshments throughout the day at shops located in Nassau County with one common goal in mind – to heighten awareness of the resale industry.
49 people completed the crawl by visiting all fourteen participating shops, having their cards punched, and were eligible to win the Grand Prize Raffle Drawing: one night stay at the Amelia Hotel at the Beach, and gift certificates from the Crab Trap Restaurant, Retail Therapy Consignment, and Fifi’s Fine Resale. Kathy Crosby and her daughters Kayla and Braylin were the winners of the Grand Prize drawing.
“It was such a fun and exciting day!” Exclaimed Jessica Miller, owner of Fifi’s. “So many entire families were out together completing the Consignment Crawl. The response from both participants and shopkeepers has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are planning to offer another Consignment Crawl this fall,” Miller continued.
