The Amelia Island Museum is located at 233 S. Third Street in Fernandina Beach. Friday, October 16th, the events begin at 6:00 pm and this is FREE and open to the public.
Ann Chinn is a juried textile artist and designer featured in Potomac Life Magazine, Architectural Digest and The Washington Post, “Toga Na” Exhibit, Macy’s “Inspiration Africa,” and sold at the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. She is the founder of the Artist Market, in Washington, DC, and leader of workshops across the country.
Dr. Charles E. Cobb, Jr is an award-winning journalist, allAfrica.com senior analyst, writer for NPR and former member of National Geographic editorial board, Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University, author of On the Road to Freedom, a Guided Tour of the Civil Rights Trail.
