Fernandina's downtown farmers market brings back Vermont Maple Syrup, Bliss Cupcakery and Lizzie's fabulous cheese straws.
Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market is open with a wide variety of vendors on N. 7th Street in historic, downtown Amelia Island to make your holiday shopping a little more easy and a lot more fun!
Open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we invite you to the friendliest farmers market in Florida, where returning vendors this week include Steephill Vermont Maple Syrup’s first visit of the season, local retailer Bliss and their delicious cakes and cookies, and Lizzie’s fabulous cheese straws.
One of our newer vendors is Barbara’s Cinnamon Apples. These are fresh Fuji apples poached in a homemade cinnamon syrup. They are unique, delicious and preserved so no refrigeration is necessary. Some of the many ways to enjoy these apples are over ice cream (fantastic), yogurt, cottage cheese, with pork roast, chops or barbecue. Once you have finished the apples, try using the syrup in cola, tea (hot or cold), cranberry juice, lemonade, or a tasty Appletini. (One of their clients uses them to make moonshine.) Cinnamon Apples will be available in Holiday Packs consisting of a nice gift bag, tissue, ribbon and a gift card. The cost of holiday wrapping is $2.00 (plus the cost of the apples you would like to give).
Saturday, December 7th we will be hosting the Nassau Humane Society as our featured non-profit booth, and Gabriel Arnold will be playing a wonderful mix of music, including some holiday favorites, adding to the delightful atmosphere of the Market Place.
Open rain or shine, more information about the farmers’ market can be found on our website: FernandinaBeachMarketPlace.com, you can “like” us on facebook, or call (904) 557-8229.
