Discover the World Luxury Travel Show at Ritz Carlton

The agency's travel philosophy always focused on hands on knowledge of destinations and properties and close ties with their travel suppliers.

The Travel Agency, located on Amelia Island since 1974, is holding its 5th Annual Test Drive the World Show at The Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island on Wednesday Nov 6th from 4 to 7pm. The agency headed by Ange Wallace and her daughter Angela Wallace Pierson has come a long way since Jim and Ange left their South Florida PanAm jobs to open a Travel Agency on Ange’s native island. Early offices included church and school buildings, the building that now houses Horizons Restaurant and a corner in the Publix shopping mall, until they build their own offices on the corner of 14th Street and Amelia Park in 1999.

Their travel philosophy always focused on hands on knowledge of destinations and properties and close ties with their travel suppliers, which is why the Internet never threatened their existence. With deep contacts across the globe, extensive relationship building on the ground and a concerned approach to sustainable travel and philanthropy the agency has built a reputation of trust, exciting travel products and top of the line service.

Some 30 national and international luxury travel suppliers will be presenting their current and future adventure-, expedition- and leisure travel opportunities and cruise options to a selected clientele.

Today The Travel Agency is an invited member of Virtuoso Luxury Travel Advisors, a global affiliation of the top luxury suppliers and advisors. Their annual August gathering in Las Vegas is considered the largest of its kind with the mantra to exchange information and build relationships. The annual Test Drive the World Show is natural progression of the Vegas show, as the Agency invites suppliers to come and introduce their new travel products to seasoned travelers and its clientele in Northeast Florida.

As always Proceeds of the admission go in its entirety to benefit the Nassau County Boys and Girls Club.
