Farmers Market Fits Fernandina Just Fine
Historic Fernandina Beach is home to the N. 7th Street farmers market… and the Fernandina Beach Market Place is home to some extraordinary vendors. These exhibitors quickly become friends and many already feel like family, not only to me as the market manager, but to many of our loyal customers as well! They would be a great “fit” to ANY market and we feel honored to have them!!!
This week we invite you to come meet the Butcher, the Baker and the Candlestick Maker!
This week we will call Steve, with JD Beef, “The Butcher.” He brings all natural, free range, Angus beef, and pork, raised without steroids, antibiotics, or hormones.
Our Bakers include Karen’s Homemade Pies, ARS Cake Creations, Brian from Short and Sweet, Rudy form Maria’s Bakery, Alex and his Russian baked goods, and our own locals Great Harvest Bread Company and Kelley’s Courtyard Cafe.
The Candlestick Maker
The Candlestick Maker is of course, farmers market favorite, Dot Williams with her Amelia Island Soy Candles.
All of these delightful vendors are in addition to your fresh vegetable and fruit vendors including Bacons Select, Cabbage Creek Farms, Boatright Farms, KYV Farms, and Reed’s Citrus.
We hope you will join us in welcoming our newest produce vendor, Tommy King and Jane Honn with Kings Kountry Produce, who fit perfectly into the Fernandina Beach Market Place!
So, before jumping into all of the automobile activities and the hustle and bustle The Concours d’Elegance and the Festivals of Speed are bringing to the South end of Amelia Island, start your day by visiting our friendly farmers market on N. 7th Street, Saturday mornings, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Also this week we have Lizzie’s Cheese Straws and Olive my Pickle returning. Entertainment will be provided by talented Saxophonist Gabriel Arnold.
We are family friendly and your well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome, too.
