There are plenty of activities and events scheduled for Father's Day weekend on Amelia Island, so come out and play!
Fathers Day Weekend Events
Fundraisers are being held throughout Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida to help Vicki Hancock reach $250,000 for a bone marrow transplant. On Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you can shop at Fifi’s Fine Resale located at 1853 S. 8th Street for a great cause!
Proceeds from the Bake Sale and the $20 bags Fifi’s Fine Resale sells on Saturday will go to Vicki. Also helping to raise money are CorMieR Hair Studio, Lia Sophia jewelry and Retail Therapy is selling $5 Raffle tickets for a jewelry set all to help raise money for Vicki.

The Amelia Island Nassau County Board of Realtors will be having a HUGE YARD SALE & BAKE SALE this coming Saturday, June, 19 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. It will be held at the Board Office located at 910 S 14th Street. All proceeds will be donated to local charities!
The Chalk Garden, a dramatic comedy by Enid Bagnold is playing at Amelia Community Theatre June 10 to 20 in Fernandina Beach, FL. Tickets are $17 for adults and $10 for students through 12th grade. Please call 261-6749 for reservations.
The Graduation Ceremony for Nassau County Firefighters will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00 PM in the Multi Purpose Building at 543350 US Highway 1 in Callahan, Florida.
The Amelia Island Beach Walk Summer Solstice Trek ’10 is on Saturday, June 19 and scheduled to depart the fort at Ft. Clinch State Park at 3:00pm. This is a 16 mile trek along Amelia Island’s coast line, tip to tip.
Paul Massing and his Amazing Portrait Artists & Models will be on display at the 15th Annual “Off the Wall” 2010 Exhibit and Reception presented by the Island Art Association, Saturday, June 19th – 5:00 to 8:00 PM
The Jacksonville Sprint Series (Mini Triathlon) will be held on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at Main Beach park in Fernandina Beach, Florida beginning at 7:00 AM.
