Network with up to 150 Chamber members at Business After Hours, Nassau County’s biggest networking event, sponsored in February by Savannah Grand of Amelia Island and featuring a country-western theme.
Parking will be at the Days Inn & Suites, 2707 Sadler Road in Fernandina Beach, with a complimentary shuttle to Savannah Grand.
Business After Hours is a great way to meet other local business people and make contacts that will help grow your business. There is always great food, drinks, door prizes and, of course, networking!
Admission to Business After Hours is $5 for Chamber members, $25 for non-members. Prospective members should contact Business Development Coordinator Lynne Starling for information about attending.
Small Business Orientation
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 25

The Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce is partnering with JAX Chamber to present its’ Entrepreneurial Growth Division Small Business Orientation on Amelia Island.
The orientation is the first stop for entrepreneurs in the northeast Florida region. Through this process, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs will be introduced to the resources available not just at the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee and Jacksonville Chambers, but the community at large.
The Small Business Orientation is free of charge and designed to give you a terrific overview of all the services available to you as an aspiring or current entrepreneur. Our evening session runs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. We invite you to stay after the orientation for the break-out programs which are also free and take place during the second hour from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Existing small business owners who have been in business for at least six months or more (and have realized some dollar revenue), will be able to meet separately with someone from the Small Business Administration or Jacksonville Women’s Business Center or SCORE. Individuals who have not yet started their business will remain for the Entrepreneurial Assessment which is also free. All sessions are open to the public.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee works to increase awareness of regulatory and legislative issues affecting AIFBY Chamber members by encouraging input and participation in local committees and boards.
The GAC meets the last Wednesday of the month to discuss issues and to recommend formal policy stances for adoption by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
