Babe Ruth North Florida State Championship
Fernandina Beach beat Dinsmore 9 to 3 to win the 2010 North Florida Babe Ruth 15U (15 and under) State Championship. The championship game was played Sunday, July 25th and with victory came Fernandina’s advancement to the Regional Championship held in Matthew, North Carolina the first weekend in August.

It is estimated that 300 boys and girls participate in Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth baseball each year, establishing an environment to learn teamwork and discipline. The season begins in March and runs through November and this year Fernandina hosted the North Florida State Tournament bringing parents, grandparents and friends of these great young players to Amelia Island.
