This is a view looking East on Centre Street at the corner of Second and Centre. Do you want to see something really interesting? Go to the exact spot the photo was taken, today and see just how much Fernandina Beach has changed.

Interesting was that the street then was called Atlantic and not Centre.

I am researching a man buried in St. Peter’s Cemetery by the name of John Butler Hall. I am trying to find information on his cause of death (1905) and his life in Fernandina. He is a relative. I can’t find any information on his life there but he has a very impressive grave in the church cemetery. While the grave is very impressive he is the only family member buried there. I do know that his sons and wife moved to Pinellas Fla. Any information you could find on him or direct me to resources would really touch my heart. Thanks Julie
