Renowned classical stars Pamela Frank and Stephen Prutsman are in concert Sunday, March 1 at Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival

Fernandina Beach, FL – Violinist Pamela Frank and pianist Stephen Prutsman will perform masterpieces of J.S. Bach at a March 1 concert as part of the 2020 season of the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival.

This 5:00 PM concert will be held at Amelia Plantation Chapel, 36 Bowman Road on Amelia Island. Tickets for this and every concert in the 2020 season are available at www.aicmf.com or (904) 261-1779.

Violinist Pamela Frank performs regularly as a recitalist with many of today’s foremost orchestras. Her chamber music projects include performances with Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax and her late father, the renowned pianist Claude Frank. Ms. Frank also makes frequent appearances with the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and Musicians from Marlboro.

Pianist, composer and conductor Stephen Prutsman has performed the classical concerto repertoire as soloist with many of the world’s leading orchestras. He was formerly Artistic Partner with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, where he conducted concertos from the keyboard and performed in chamber ensembles. He also was Artistic Director of the Cartagena International Festival of Music, South America’s largest festival of its kind. A medal winner at the Tchaikovsky and Queen Elizabeth Piano Competitions in the 1990s, he is a recipient of the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Upcoming performances of the Festival’s 2020 season include superstar violinist Itzhak Perlman on March 19, a free family concert on March 27 and a free concert in Amelia Park on March 28.
