Shrimp Expression culminated on October 16, 2010 at the ShrimpElation Celebration. As the sun was setting on the Amelia River, Pogey Place (the old pogey plant) was transformed into an enchanting evening of dinner, dancing and a very successful auction of the remaining eight shrimp sculptures.
The highest bid was for Rock Shrimp at $1,500, who found a happy home at the Boys and Girls Club.
Other shrimp sculptures were purchased and donated to the City of Fernandina to be permanently displayed.
Please visit www.SearchAmelia.com to view some of the fun-filled happenings of the evening. Thank you, First Federal Bank, for your sponsorship of ShrimpElation Celebration.
