GratitudeAmerica Military Appreciation Oscar Night Gala
GratitudeAmerica, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who provides critical support for veterans who served post 9/11 in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as their families and families of the fallen, is rolling out the red carpet for an Oscar Night Gala at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Amelia Island Omni Plantation Resort to benefit U.S. veterans suffering the “invisible wounds of war.”
GratitudeAmerica offers retreat programs that use integrative approaches to assist participants affected by deployment exposure, such as Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury, and to connect warriors to resources through a network of community partners. These American heroes are owed a debt that can never fully be repaid, but GratitudeAmerica is passionate about making a difference in their lives.
Cost to enter is $150 per person and $200 per person after February 11; tables of eight or 12 are available by request. The black tie and blue jeans affair will feature red carpet arrival and video welcome, plated dinner, silent and live auctions, live entertainment, wide screen TVs for monitoring Hollywood events LIVE and friendly wagering via ballot for Academy Award winners.
All funds raised during the event will directly benefit GratitudeAmerica’s initiatives and programs.
