Healing Touch Workshop
A Healing Touch Level 1 Training Workshop for professional and personal development is being offered in Amelia Island, Florida on April 16 and 17, 2010. The classes are held from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Healing Touch is a gentle complementary energy based approach to health and healing. Based on the nursing process, and supported by scientific research, it is rooted in the concepts of compassion, energy medicine, positive intention, touch, self-empowerment, the mind-body-spirit triad, and the body’s innate tendency toward healing. It uses touch to influence the human energy system; especially the energy field that surrounds the body and the energy centers that control the energy flow from the energy field to the physical body. The goal is to restore the harmony and balance to human energy system through a heart-centered relationship.
Healing Touch Program provides accredited Continuing Education for Nurses, Massage Therapists and Chaplains taking Level 1 of the Healing Touch Program.
