How to Be A Pirate How to be a Pirate in Seven Easy Songs, a mini musical by Greg Gilpin, was performed at Amelia Arts Academy by the children enrolled in their summer programs. By special invitation members of the Fernandina Pirates Club attended this adorable display of the talented youth in our community.

Over 20 kids participated in the play that included song titles such as Ahoy there!, Shiver Me Timbers and Party, Me Hearty.

On the program for the show, they printed the 7 Rules to Bein’ A Good Pirate:

    1. Pirates always dress for success
    2. Pirates eat lots of fruits and vegetables, so they don’t get scurvy!
    3. Pirates share their loot.
    4. Pirates work and play hard!
    5. Pirates always stay focused and stay on course.
    6. Pirates stick together.
    7. Pirates are loud and PROUD!

As the Public Relations Director for the Fernandina Pirates Club, Inc. I will be bringing these rules to our next general meeting!

It is no wonder Amelia Arts Academy is a Jax4Kids.com Best Of winner!

If you know a little pirate who performed in this program, you will want to watch this short, two minute video:
