The new Jazzercise dance-fitness classes begin Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 95754 Amelia Concourse, Fernandina Beach. Class times are 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as 6 p.m. Tuesdays.
Bradsher is a native of California and wife of local Grace Community Church Pastor David Bradsher, and mother of their four children. She enjoyed Jazzercise since 2003 and when she and her family moved to Yulee in 2009 to serve Grace Community Church, Bradsher was disappointed to find the community didn’t have a Jazzercise program. After exploring other options locally, she decided to drive 26 miles to classes in Jacksonville. In September 2011, she received her instructor certification, making it possible for her to offer classes in Fernandina Beach, and the only Jazzercise classes in Nassau County. Bradsher will now share her love of Jazzercise with the people here in her community.
Bradsher earned Jazzercise teaching designation by passing a successful audition and completing thorough training in anatomy physiology and group fitness instruction.
The 60-minute Jazzercise classes include a warm-up, high-energy aerobic routines, muscle-toning and cool-down stretch segment. Jazzercise combines elements of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and more to create programs for people of all ages and fitness levels.
