Football season is officially just around the corner. Get the season off to a great start with this appetizer, Coconut Chicken Balls.

Browsing through the fabulous recipes, from appetizers to desserts and everything in between, I found a tasty treat that is perfect to prepare whether you are tailgating, going to a party or hosting the party at your home. Try Coconut Chicken Balls at your next football outing.
8 Ounces of softened cream cheese
1 Cup of cooked chicken, finely chopped
1 Cup finely ground slivered almonds
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon curry powder
2 to 3 Tablespoons chopped chutney
1/2 Teaspoon Lawry’s seasons salt
Combine all of the ingredients, except the coconut, in a bowl and mix well.
Chill, covered, in the refrigerator.
Shape into small balls and roll in the coconut.
Chill until serving time.
Arrange on a serving plate with wooden picks for serving.
Makes about 3 dozen.
