This year, an exciting array of premier "bucket list" trips will be auctioned off
Yulee, FL – Take Stock in Children Nassau grows closer every day to the December 5, 2013, date for their annual fundraising gala. This year, an exciting array of premier “bucket list” trips will be auctioned off to benefit the Take Stock in Children Nassau program.
Trips to exotic destinations like Machu Picchu and Bora Bora will include airfare, glamorous vacation and hotel packages for the auction winners. Several other awe-inspiring trips will include first class theatre excursions to Broadway and London’s West End, as well as tickets and airfare to the 2014 Ryder Cup in Gleneagles, Scotland.
“We are thrilled to be able to have these bucket list trips up for auction for the first time this year,” said Bob Schmonsees, head of the Light Up A Life auction committee. “I think everyone is going to be really impressed with the quality of these vacation packages.”
Light Up A Life, which is held the first Thursday of every December, is hosted by the Omni Amelia Island Plantation and sponsored in part by Arlington Toyota. This year, the Take Stock in Children gala will be in the newest and largest conference area, the Magnolia Ballroom, which is large enough to accommodate 700 persons.
Tickets for the Take Stock in Children annual fundraiser, Light Up A Life, are $75.00 apiece, and include a formal sit-down dinner with wine following the silent auction. They will be available for purchase the last week of October online at www.takestocknassau.org.
