Marketing 101 For Arts & Cultural Organizations
Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 10:00 am to noon, this forum will be held in the upstairs meeting room of the Amelia Island Museum of History, located at 233 S. 3rd St, in Fernandina Beach.
The Art of Marketing: Marketing 101 for Arts & Cultural Organizations will take participants step-by-step through the marketing process and give practical strategies for creating an individual marketing plan.
Topics will include:
-Determining your target market
-Using social media
-Defining goals, strategies & tactics
-Creating your own marketing plan
Speaker Kim Deppe is owner and president of Deppe Communications, a marketing and advertising agency located in Fleming Island, FL. She is a Marketing and Public Relations professional with over 25 years experience in branding, integrative marketing, social media, online marketing, crisis communications and management. She worked in healthcare marketing for over 20 years, including 16 years at St. Vincent’s Health System and was vice president of marketing at a large Jacksonville credit union.
In 2011, she completed a master’s certificate program in online marketing and started her own marketing consulting firm. Her experiences in traditional marketing, social media, marketing strategy and online marketing combine to give her a unique perspective based on years of experience and up-to-the moment digital tactics.
