This piece was going to be much longer as Lawrence and I had full intentions of attending the grand opening. Press release: Operating under one roof, Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott, will add 239 rooms and bring more visitors to the Main Beach area of Fernandina Beach, where businesses like The Sandbar & Kitchen and the newly opened Salt Life Food Shack will benefit. Both Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott will share one roof. The four-story, 37,000-square-foot building, will feature state-of-the-art facilities for meetings and conferences.
The hotels are part of their “Classic Select” collection. Not as nice as the W or the Ritz, and a touch more traditional than their Moxy and Aloft line of hotels.
Award-winning service, stylish decor, SpringHill Suites provides the little extras that add up to more.
Enabling ambitious travelers to succeed through an environment that inspires creativity and fosters connections.
The property is set to be completed in the spring of 2021.
