Museum's 3rd on 3rd with Ryan HartkeThe Amelia Island Museum of History invites you to its next 3rd on 3rd Street presentation on Friday, November 21st at 6 pm. Join us as special guest, Ryan Hartke of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, will be discussing historic cemeteries and shells of northeast Florida.

The presentation will explore the fascinating relationship between Florida’s historic burial grounds and the shells (which often are not indigenous to the area) that are commonly found near headstones. We will delve into where these unique markers come from, what they signify, and who left them there.

This program is free for members with a suggested donation of $5 for nonmembers. Seating is first-come, first-served.
