Approaching the holidays, parents find themselves wondering what is the school holiday schedule for Nassau County?

There will be no school on Friday, November 11th in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Wednesday, November 21st is a half day of school and there will be no school on Thursday, November 23rd, and Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The Christmas Holiday break will begin on Friday, December 16th with an early dismissal day. However, end-of-course exams and other scheduled testings are planned for that week for many students, so try not to take your kids out of school too early for your Christmas Vacation.
Students return to the classroom on Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
