Fernandina Beach, FL – The Nassau Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter, is proud to welcome Kelly Monti as the newest addition to their staff. Kelly joins the Nassau Humane Society with eight years’ experience in fundraising, volunteer management and event planning, most recently as the Project Coordinator at Micah’s Place. Prior to that, she was the Membership Director with the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce.
The Nassau Humane Society is seeking volunteers to help with their fundraising and awareness events throughout the year. One major fundraiser will be their “Black Tie and Tails” Gala this Spring. The Gala will raise funds for their capital campaign to build a new shelter that is so desperately needed. The Gala will be a very special evening to celebrate and share our compassion for all pets in our community. There will be various committees to help with the planning of this event. Several levels of sponsorship opportunities are available also. If you are interested in helping with planning or sponsoring the “Black Tie and Tails” Gala, please contact Kelly Monti at volunteer@nassauhumanesociety.com or call 904-491-1511.
If you are interested in our other volunteer opportunities or to make a donation to help our homeless dogs and cats, please visit our website www.nassauhumanesociety.com for more information and complete the online application.
The Nassau Humane Society has found new homes and new lives for thousands of homeless dogs and cats. We provide a no-kill shelter for the abandoned, the abused, the surrendered and the rescued. Our organization strives daily to bring people and pets together, enriching the lives of both.
