The Boys & Girls Clubs announce a Capital Campaign to build a new Club on the campus of Southside in Fernandina Beach.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation is proud to announce a Capital Campaign to build a new and expanded Boys & Girls Club on the campus of Southside Elementary School in Fernandina Beach. The Nassau County School Board has provided the land to the Foundation to build a joint use facility in the southeast corner of campus fronting on Lime Street.
The building used currently for the Club is inadequate in many ways. At the present time, we can comfortably accommodate about 30 kids. However, we are currently averaging nearly 60 each day, including a new Saturday program. The new Club will accommodate over 240 kids and will include a covered outdoor basketball/volleyball court.
Please come and learn how you can support this very important future addition in our community by attending one of the following receptions for a complete briefing on the plans for the new Club.
Refreshments and an assortment of cheeses will be served.
