Mixed Media announces new venture
Mixed Media announced last week the plans to launch a new business publication titled The Biz Magazine, to be released this fall. In a press release, the company revealed that The Biz is entirely geared towards the business community in Nassau County, giving the local business community a platform to speak up about issues that face them.
“Sharing expertise will help our community benefit from the knowledge of others and become familiar with the trends, leaders and opportunities in our county”, says John Carvalho, editor and project leader at Mixed Media, adding that each issue of The Biz will be mailed directly to all businesses in Nassau County for free, and distributed at many business venues, including the local Chamber of Commerce.
The Biz Magazine aims to serve as Nassau County’s premiere magazine for local business news, info and tips and will be written for, and by, local business leaders, says the release, offering that they are currently working with more than 25 local business leaders to create original, useful and interesting articles.
Topics covered in The Biz will include: Business Development, Leadership, Marketing, Customer Service, Advertising, Social Media, Technology, Networking, Event Planning, Tourism & Business Travel, Politics, Financial & Legal, Health & Ecology and more!
