Painting by: Dee Beard Dean

Dee Beard Dean (www.deebearddean.com) will be teaching an Amelia Island Artist Workshop called “Learning to See” Plein Air on Amelia Island. Plein air comes from the French en plein air and means “in the open air”. This workshop is meant to get you out of your studio and into natural light, changing shadows and 360 degree awareness.

April 19 – 22, artists will receive group and individualized instruction in plein air painting in this four day workshop. There will be a short lesson in the morning and the rest of the day will be spent painting. This workshop is geared toward intermediate and advanced artists. For more information, a class supply list and to register for the workshop, please visit the Amelia Island Artist Workshop website.
